What is this?

Ok Im sure this is some type of knife. It is worked on one side but not the other. My wife found it at a dig site in Kimble county, tx. Thanks for your help!!!

This looks like a piece broken from a core. My understanding of how some points were made, is they would take a large piece of rock, or a core, and break pieces from it. They would take those pieces and knap points. Flint chips commonly have that smooth bottom and worked top. So to me this looks like it was broken from a core and judging from the few knaps on the underside, they started but did not finish. But I have very little experience in this.....

Broken spall knife (uni-face), made from a flint spall.
