battle hammer?

i dont know really what this is but why else are there tally marks on it.all help welcomed.

The marks in the last pic view certainly look man made

Other than that I dont know what to make of it other than judging from the size compared to your fingers.. . . if I was going into battle to hammer the enemy, I would choose a pebble with a little more clout

Knapping stone maybe.

i only know it has a chisle end and a hammer end and is highly polished. i too first thought it was a knapping tool but then i saw the tally marks.

Maybe it's some kind of calender stone or shamans stone?
