Re: a work in progress

Wow, what a case. Both the workmanship and whats in it!
If I find another Batwing Bell like that one, it will be my first ! Also, we had noted many months ago that MANY Andice even with surviving barbs were SEVERELY resharpened way down, like your smaller one. Maybe we find really large ones occasionally because they anti****ted heaps of resharpening down the line.

For floating flint.
Glue the backing material to the foam with the 3M general purpose spray can glue.
Scotch brand makes a DOUBLE SIDED CLEAR TAPE...A little dabble do ya and points can still be rearranged. ( clarification . . . { for some}..tape goes unseen on the back....NOT taped to the glass )

Even Riker case users can benefit from the technique because even with adding another layer of foam to get the flint to lie more securelly against the glass....Over time the light cardboard backing bows out and the flint floats again.

Pat, you really have nice toes, you might consider open toed sandals instead of your rotten old digging boots

Re: a work in progress

Very nice collection you have there pat (And toe!)

I realy like the large case.. Hal made me a large care and I never put my flint in it! It reminds me that I need to fill that sucker!

Great Show!
