surface hunting or digging

Hi there guys and gals i'm new to Temple TX and i'm looking for a place to do some FREE surface hunting or digging, any advice would help. From what i hear there are some awesome points in this area

Re: surface hunting or digging

Bat, If anybody properly answered your question on the "WORLD WIDE WEB " ( WWW ) of a free site where they were actually finding something, within days , there would be a hole in the ground to rival the Kimberly diamond mine in South Africa.
Temple and NW anywhere along the Leon river drainages are indeed excellent ancient settlements area. The hardest part of the flint hobby is where to look. Surfacing with owner permission is the way to go.

So what might one expect of surfacing within 20 miles of Temple TX ? Check the postings of " Nate " including todays post of a huge 5 inch item. Admittedly he's on Chrisners but suppose you got permission to hunt the next ranch over, all those artifacts keep washing along all the drainages til they are dumped out in the Gulf of Mexico

Your not the first to hope for special locations, look back at all of the YEARS of back postings that deal with " where to. . . . "
