wigglepick

hello all.I enjoy looking at this sight.Lots of nice looking points and blades. This is my first post.I have a wigglepick question someone might could answer for me.Im gonna make a few and was wondering whats the proper or average lengths for the handle and pick? Thanks.

Re: wigglepick

i handmade my wiggle pick from a truck lead spring. i started with a long handle, then i cut the handle down twice to the length that i like. good luck , i swear by my wiggle pick.

Re: wigglepick

The blade length of the largest pick is 19 inches. The blade on Badgers custom made pick is 7 inches ( nail on a stick )
No set specs for handles, a lot are way too long for the job. A big factor should be the lightest possible for a 10 hour dig
Look for an old posting brought forward re making tools.

bb....Good job on the pick. This is perfect timing for your Frosty pic too 97* in Centex today, I'll be thinking about the snow flakes about 3PM today
