A decent Saturday find in KS

Hi friends, I went out to a creek & put in 4 hours yesterday, Sat. the 24th, saw only 2 pieces of flint in the first 3 hours of looking & 1 buffalo tooth, then the 3rd piece of flint was a tip sticking out of a dry gravel bar & removed it to find it was a full 2 7/8" long gray flint Grand type point, not a G10, but definately a keeper. Found 2 more pieces of flint, but not artifacts, a good day in the 95F heat & high humidity we'vce been having in SE Kansas......John

First 2 pics "in-situ", then in hand.....

That is such a cool piece. The in-sitsu pics are dynamite. Thanks for sharing your find. Congrats !

Re: A decent Saturday find in KS

For some reason, " insitus " in KS seem more vivid and interesting...Maybe the air is more clear up there.
Nice find, excellent report.
