Took my daddy-in-law to the Leon River today for his 66th Birthday sift and Beer Time! We didn't set the woods on fire, but we had fun and found a few points. We are sifting this camp with a Cat skidsteer and a 4'x8' screen me and my brother built. The Castroville and the Marshal made us both CRY! On the bright side, they were both ancient breaks and may receive the Love of Dr. Gomer. I will post some pictures of all my sift and hand-dig finds from this camp as well as a brief history. Thanks for looking and have a good week.
Good job and Good report. The Leon drainages are well known for fine artifacts.
Not too many for that paricular Castro,,,sometimes they made more than one
