early archaic drill or what?

looking for some identification help on this one...found it in the early archaic/late paleo depth...any thoughts?

Good one, Seems to be fashioned from a square baser, medium early archaic maybe. Everytime we see drills like this, the mind says " what were they drilling ??

my first thought was a darl drill. similiar darl flaking. but if you found it in an early archaic area then it's something else. looks like the ears are worked off so there's no telling. nice drill though.
