Time again for what's the point Pat. I am trying to keep your skills honed as we enter the New Year. I plan am digging with you soon so get the wiggle-pick ready as the old Idaho has a new spot in Castroville-Sabinal area in the spring. The guy I work with owns 2500 acres and we get to go and dig it. News to follow soon. It will be a great area to dig ! Name that artifact.
don't tease me about a new location dig,i cant tell you how excitable i am.
o.k. down to bidness my guess on the first point due to such a straight base i would say gahagan.
man that mystery point have you named it yet, if not the closest thing i can find in any book in the texas area is a san patrice keithville it has a very comparible point in my 8th edition also the only example of the s.p.geneill looks good.but if i remember right once u said it was NOT ground so on that last point it looks like it has some basil/ shoulder damage but my guess would be tortuga.
thanks for the challenges i really look forward to them.
p.s. do you think you might give me a little something for scale next time cause i'm going to be if that top point turns out to be a 2 in. guerrero/(mission) point.
The last point is a very early beveled triangle found at Nachos at the church, the middle is the mystery point-no idea for now and, the top knife is. Hal will know, he was there when I found it at Barefoot Bills. it is 3.5 inches. How about it Hal.. Bawk Bawk. The same day a certain point was not found on my table.. Hal?
Ida, Castroville is a super location for digging. Rancher's have wised up out here and it has become very difficult to find new digs. When most diggers are really hurting for dig spot I will open recently purchased riverfront. I am looking for something within the thirty mile radius of Austin as most folks would rather spend as little time behind the windshield to get to a dig site.
Hal. You are an instant winner !!!! If it were not for this nice Darl Blade that day would have sucked. But any day diggin with no finds is so much better than sittin on the couch looking at old dig pictures. I am working on new dirt. Cheers

ANOTHER property ! Do you know something we dont ? Like Disney is going to build the new Texas park right
there
A dig within 30 miles of Austin Tx When I first read that I thought you had hit the "3" instead
of the '9' button.....THEN I thought " that crafty old wheeler dealer has an angle " I think I know what it is;;;
We can drive you right up to the mailbox and point to three houses that "developers" deliberatly built large
houses right on the middle of Indian camps.
Buy the house, dig the underneath right to the foundations, let the house structure cave into the
hole, continue digging to the property line using the throw dirt to smooth over the buried house rubble Resell the vacant lot.
Only snag to such a perfect plan is to be able to buy
the exact house on the midden, they dont come up for sale very often as the Centex indoor pot growers snap up any " new on the market "

i did'nt do that badly i'm ready for more. i remember you finding that the week after i found my killer darl blade at barefoot's. but its still the straight base why i did'nt call it a darl.the e.t. is in the same catagory and very hard to distinguish. from early to late archaic tortugA's are beveled also. and that mystery point is well it goes without saying. keep em comin. CHEERS!!
the experts are starting to put lajita and nolans closely related so i'm going to say the one on the right away from the lighter a lajita. now i need a little more info on the kinney on the left by the lighter unless it is ground then i would have to call it a plainview. keep em comming even if im wrong im gaining confidence.just one more lonstar and i will tell you what i really think about the lajita point.
