ONE DRY SPOT IN TX

Not a drop of rain in Barksdale this wkend, just thick humidity.
This badly broken scrap will now spend the rest of its days in a special finds, velvet lined display frame

Dale was the lucky finder and also got a half of a gorget.

Most of us remember Travis 1 as that young guy in the big white Chefs hat.... Here's a better picture for future references with his lucky Lady Lacy.

He's grown so big I couldn't get him all in one frame

No after dig pics,,, at the stroke of 5:01 it was like a formula one race start... people wanted to get going while there was still light , heading into the rest of TX that was under water.

Re: ONE DRY SPOT IN TX

i figured after your last posting you had something up your sleeves, you either closed a bar down, or you were headed south. very nice job you would make a great official for the diggers. but once again i find myself questioning why the frio looks complete after a good washing.

Re: ONE DRY SPOT IN TX

Looks like you did pretty fair Travis. That's one fine looking drill and a neat video to boot.

Re: ONE DRY SPOT IN TX

Nice finds!!

Re: ONE DRY SPOT IN TX

I'm really surprised to see how good your video turned out. With no Tripods, lights or "setting up " the scenes I didn't think you had any footage. New cam does great....Now all you have to do is have good finds to take pics of every visit to your local dig
Comanch Perds not good enough after the dirt was washed off ?

P, You are very kind in your wording of the "washed" point...Thats the true beauty of friendly Smiley faces..

Pinochio conveys the whole story

Re: ONE DRY SPOT IN TX

i need to wash the broke points and post them along with the funky perds.
