are there dig sites in tx panhandle/ lubbock area???

just moved to lubbock, dug a bit in tx hillcountry, tryin to find areas to dig in panhandle..anyone?

just curious. what did you find in the hill country. we are in desparette need of front page news. cause its going to be hard to beat whats on there now. dam beans.

bunch of archaic stuff..montells, castrovilles, perds, bulverdes..been surface huntin up near lubbock..not much water in this country, even harder finding mound/midden rock..any help would be much appreciated

palo duro canyon is one of the most famous places in the panhandle. Though a state park there is a lot of private land around there it may take time but id meet as many farmers as possible and offer a little cash moneys tight around there and there are a lot of very kind people. You can tour beutiful rock art around the canyon its a must see for any native amrican history buff

Using that "SEARCH" block in the upper right, try to look back at posts concerning "SANDY "...She lives up that way and posted some local finds. Including pics of what a "camp" looks like.

Camps ( and size & quality of points ) is entirely different in some thinner soil conditions.
