Was sifting for birds for about two hrs. and only found two broke bases. So I decided to go "clean" out my deep dig spot and dig down. After siftin through the wash I started workin the west wall of the hole. After about five minutes this base comes out with a little notch off center. Naturally my heart starts thumping and I dig around a little more. The base is in the wall firm and as I clean the dirt around it I find another notch in the side! So with a partially uncovered c-tang hangin out of the wall I take a couple pics and keep digging. Finally I pull it out and it's WHOLE! Not a nick on it! Will post pics tonight! Gotta keep diggin!

Instant reports from the dig site is very commendable but since one pic is worth a lot of words, If your going to make this a regular habit a smart phone with camera might be in order.
Then all the viewers wont be left hanging in suspense for an hour or two

Lol I post exclusively from my phone... But waaaay out in the boondocks where the dig is, it takes over an hour to load but ONE pic :(
