Hi, I recently inherrited a small collection of arrowheads, and would like help valuing them. Most of them have prices on stickers on the back of them, but a lot of them don't. Judging by the price tags the collection has some serious value and I would like some advise on how to sell it. If anyone knows a collector or vendor around Houston that might buy them for a fair price let me know.
Please note that I'm not trying to sell this to you, but rather asking if you know where I might be able to sell it. Also this is nowhere near the full collection, in the picture where they're in the cardboard box there are 5 more display cases full of them. I just took a few pictures of the expensive valued ones, because as I said: most of them are unvalued.
Thanks.
PS: Sorry for the images, I couldn't get embedding to work, so I"m just linking to them.
This may not be the help your hoping to get but it's the best I can manage as my buy/sell activity is non existant..
1...Whatever price tags you say are on some points ..THEY ARE TOO LOW...Flint artifact values are litterly going up daily.
2...Assuming/hopeing you are located somewhere in Texas, the greatest flint show of the year will be held again in Temple TX...it's H U G E and brings buyers and sellers together from all over North America.
If you haven't made any progress on disposal, you can get a table and layout your flint. That makes you a
dealer and as such should get there for the FRIDAY part of the show, that when the REAL buying/selling occurs between dealers before the common peons are let in on Saturday..
