That is as close as one can git with out actually bein one.
I think it is a coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Coulda been one if they had kept workin it.
Shoulda been one cept they quit workin it.
Would been one had they not stopped workin it.
Now you know what a coulda, shoulda, woulda is.

This is the only picture I could find but here is my cornertang top row bout 4 from the right. Terrible quality but not sure what else too call it. It may be as close as some of us come to the real stuff.
Moment of discovery 
Rubbed & scrubbed as hard as possible in case any specs of dirt was hiding some deep notches 
I HAVE to call it a corner tang or my life will be a misery for the rest of the year 
Dang tough call! I would say yeah though, looks to me like that back edge has been resharpened enough to take a little depth out o that notch. Kinda sucks you didn't find it before the fredricksburg show, I'm sure you know any of the "experts" would have loved to give an opinion lol.
Life is NOT fair 
..The backstory on this find will always be an Irksome memory for me..
I just finished a full one and a half hours work enlarging that hole..with ZERO finds ,,, I finally opted for a try at a new site. shortly Badger said " do you mind if I peck around your old spot ? "
I said, " no feel free but take note that on the right side I have been finding a LOT of good flakes and not deep. "
Well: on her FIRST peck with that stupid "nail on a stick " pecker she uses...BINGO 
( on the right side ! )
She's already got TWO certified Corner tangs..I have NONE..
...I certainly better deserved that "near miss" CT
Why not see if it passes the rogers test? He wrote the book on tangs you know!
well its looks great what ever it is id be happy to find it all ifound today was a small scraper blade and some pottery and flakes!!!
i did'nt want to respond to this until i could find a way to word it.
but i just cant help myself
as far as cigars go, it aint no cuban.
