Found in a gravel bar here in Georgetown.

Appears to be a species of Drakeoceras.
Ornamentation is right, slight keel, complex suture pattern.
Not bad not bad at all.
Really should put something in there for scale.

Thats outstanding for a central Tx find. One more flashflood washing and that might have been scrubbed
clean of the shell pattern. The cross section look is always interesting Fossils N flint

Not exactly the same creature but here's the ones next to Chrisner's garage...Any original actual shell long gone
