congrats on your finds M. thanks H. i was hoping you would put a close up on that point cause it looks very simular to the one my friend BIG B.T. found at digfest. Bill Arnold called it a carrolton.
That was the first thing I thought when I saw the pic. It sure does look close to mine. Good find M. One question is it kind of green tinted flint because that is what mine is made out of?
That particular pick is a family treasure from Badger's youth, ten yrs ago...Given to her by a local supplier at the time, called his picks " CRAZY HORSE " ...burned in the wood with a hobby type "soldering" iron.
I was hoping Badg would comment on her find...probably doesn't want the ID static ...I personally think
the characteristic base is not long enough for the Carrolton
