three feet he struck at me we saw a smaller one as well, i gotta admitt i thought it was a rat snake im a little freaked out i was wearing shorts and flipflops

it was beutiful out there friday hiking and picnic my kinda day after diggin ccc good way to relax

i still say one of the prettiest snakes out there is the copper head. what a wonderfull natures pattern camo. i think someone should make a camo pattern with the copperheads natural designs on it and call it copperhead camo.

i don't like snakes at all.. but almost brought a cotton mouth back from east Texas once thinking it was a stik hahahaha....but i lost a great dog 2 yrs ago because of a rattlesnake bite. so just watch out for your dogs and be sure to get them the anti=venom shots for snakes
