just checking to see if anyone has dug around eden, as i was invited to go take a look at place there. really no large creek on property, but there is midden rock next to a very small draw on side of hill maybe old spring? the midden is a round shape about 12 ft across. maybe someone in the san angelo area might have some input?

Lived in San Angelo for a bit, Goodfellow AFB. Did a lot of rabbit hunting out there but no artifacts.
But a day outdoors is always a plus!

helped feed a ranch about 8 miles south of eden for several years and did'nt have much luck in the artifact department, but there was'nt any middens on the property either.

thanks, i hope to go out there sometime soon? i haven't seen any finds from that area, so really do not know what to expect.

I have dug a few test holes on a ranch south of town. But there was no burnt rock or flint in hte area. The land owner has found some good points on the surface and in a creek, but not sure if its from a camp or not. The ranch has been sold, so I was never allowed to go back. Im out of Big Spring, Tx so not too close to eden. But I know there are some camps in the area. Curtis
