GOOD GRIEF, thats a purdy point ....and
GOOD GRIEF, thats rough looking surfacing country
A few shards must mean you gotta keep looking.
Still as tough as the country looks, they must have camped within a half days walk from the find area ( Unless the camp is right there under that tallest "dune")
thanks man, that dune was the largest landmark/windbreak from where i parked about 2 miles away, and I headed straight for it...i only found a few flakes and i walked grids all over the area, which makes me think it was a temporary camp (as all camps in the area are)...but the sand is so deep theres no tellin what the wind uncovers tomorrow..theres a bowl in front of the dune which held water at some time and could be considered a very small playa lake...other than that theres no other playas for a few miles, closest river is near 50 miles north...scanned that country all day and found nothing else..had to have been hard living out there...still waiting on the paleo
