man i only got about 5 hours in had to work. Started my own hole on the back o the mound. Worked my ass off after about three feet down and in i found one as i was throwing in the towell. I even called my shot with a witness was awesome. Did i saw a lot of rock, and points to boot!
Be it ever so humble, It's at least something for a first day in a new place. Course without a scale, if it's 5 inches long, it's the find of a lifetime
BUT...I do offer my highest congratulations to you...YOU are about to go down in flint history as;;;
" THE MAN THAT SENT THE GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS 'POSTING VOLUME' OVER THE ELUSIVE 8,000 MARK "
After Lunker's input, Hundreds will be going back to the 7,990 [ + ] posting ( bottom of page 5 ) to compare your posted finds from the 3 day trip to west Tx
to the 5 hour find
hey Snoop, are you sure thats a rookie nick? if it is, you just made the perfect charcos point. man it matches charcos to the letter. lucky break or rookie nick, look closely. it just seems to me that a notch that deep made with a pick in that rocky situation would have snapped that point in half.
Pat im pretty certain its fresh i never saw the pick hit the point it may have been the falling rock. Thanks guys i really like the tne digg and hope there is some dirt left next week! Sorry hal its around 3 inches!
