Hello Everyone, I've been lurking for a while and enjoy reading the posts on here. I'm not a serious digger but enjoy creek walking on occasion. I have found some points over the years and have no idea what I have. Most of them came from a creek west of Waco and are pretty beat up from being washed down the creek. Let me know if you can ID any of them or if you know their approximate age. Thanks for your help.
I found this large one on a gravel bar and I'm amazed that it was not broken.
Good show. and you will see another good show next month in Temple. Take that big blade along and ask
some dealers for an ID.
SW of Waco in the Leon river drainages was all heavily pop u lated in ancient times. Good hunting
Two points on upper left, both Carrolton. Carrolton blade made from the same type of flint as the lower left Carrolton point. Gower and (Wells?) on bottom. (Carrolton 5000-3000 B.P.) (Gower 8000-5000 B.P.)
Wanted to properly say WELCOME and thanks for showing off your creek finds! Nice collection and right now everyone an see them onthe front page of Austindiggers.com for the next week!
