Finally got the chance to hit the creek again, nothing impressive though. Another Clear Fork and Guadalupe gouge. One small decent point. Rain didn't do much to settle the dust. Need a good toadsoaker to do some real good.

That's a fat toad. Hadn't seen them around in a couple of years. Drought must have them underground or headed south. Used to have to dance around in the dark trying not to step on them. They were thick.

If you were to put all your clearforks into one display case you might probably not be able to lift it.

And more stemless points, nice, and if most points in your area tend to be smallish, a good number of your other finds must be blade fragments.

So you got shooters, cut em upers and cut some brush for firewooders

I think these local Indians were to busy whacking wood to spend time hunting.

clearforks and gouges are great artifacts for any collection. I walked buck creek and that area has some serious potential.

I like the Guadalupe gouge. Those are unique!
