OK rgs, what is it?

Didn't want to take over Michelle's post at the top but I saw you'd posted a frame and in the top left corner was a small bi-pointed arrow. That frame of birds I posted recently has one similar. Only thing in the books that's close is a Lozenge and those are coastal points. Mine was a Frio county find. Any clue to what yours is and where it's from?
Also included in this pic. is a closer view of the hafted notched Edwards.

this one?

I have no idea?

Re: OK rgs, what is it?

Hey Teh, I have seen one other besides yours and rgs's and would almost have to say it's a drill. I think the bird drills are pretty rare, but the other one I saw was from south Texas. That would be my guess, but I am no expert.

Re: OK rgs, what is it?

Thanks guys. My first thought was some form of drill or scribe, just couldn't see hafting this little puppy and have it stick unless using tree sap.
Had to have small fingers to use it though.
