A while back a man approached me and asked if he could come dig on a Paleo campsite here on the farm. His reasoning was simple, he'd dig and give me half of what he found. I explained to him that some Paleo points were worth many times their weight in gold. I then asked him if he had a gold mine on his property, would he let me come dig and give him half of what I found ? The Victoria area is rich with artifacts. There are campsites and middens all along Coleto Creek and the Guadalupe and San Antonio Rivers. The bluffs between Tivoli and Austwell over-looking San Antonio Bay are loaded with campsites and middens. Its all on private property except for the Guadalupe and Aransas National Wildlife Refuges. If you want a place to hunt arrowheads around Victoria, do some home work first, educate yourself on the area, study topo and soil maps. Try to meet some land owners, do a little recon work, do some research, walk some public s****lines at low tide.......you want a place to hunt arrowheads, go earn it.
