Paleo finds....Need to verify ID

Here are some close up pics of a few of the Paleo pieces I found. If anyone can help with the ID, please do so.

The first one I believe is a Plainview blade end. I wasn't sure if anyone could tell from the flaking?

I believe this second one is a plainview blade that has been worked down?

This last pic I believe to be a Golondrina point, but wasn't sure. Could it possibly be an Plainview? I don't the paleo points that well, so any help is appreciated.

i'm not much help in ID's, but very nice finds

Thanks for sharing!

Re: i'm not much help in ID's, but very nice finds

From what I see, it does look Paleo. Collateral flaking and design are the sure signs.

Re: Paleo finds....Need to verify ID

No guestimates from me, they all look 'old'

One snippet of info we just picked up at the Paleo Gault site tour....Paleo peoples were VERY inclined to sharpen their points right down to a nub, very economically minded.

That third pic down point was probably 8 inches long before you found it

Well now, it's not so funny when it happens to you

Yesterday we went through a layer that had Hardin, Martinadale & Angostura in it then this worked down
Plainview.

Photobucket

New, it must have been 4 1/4 inches long

Re: Paleo finds....Need to verify ID

The last pic does appear to be a Goldrinia & the shorter point is pretty rough to be a Plainview but if the base is ground, then it's one.
