i will post pics later on today. i cant believe i found a corner tang, i had decided to take a break from diggin and do a little surface huntin and laying right in the middle of one of the dry creek beds was a 4 in corner tang

YESSSsss, WE NEED A PIC...and send a copy to badger, she might find room on the front page...

In your professional opinion do you think that rare item was washed there in that short sharp downpour that hit the area this past Wednesday ?( in the middle of a long drought )...OR
Was it laying out there and all the other surfacers missed it ??

there was no way anybody that walked down that creek would have missed it, i had to have been the 1st person down that creek since the corner tang appeared
