Found this past weekend, mostly petrified wood.
What beautiful woodwork, That was some weekend 
So many Petr wood pcs got me thinking...
Yrs ago we made a couple 'fossil' field trips to the Jasper area. Walked a couple creeks with hundreds ( thousands ? ) of pieces of various sizes of petr wood...
I'm now wondering if the smaller pieces were created by the earliest Indians breaking down the complete logs to create workable sized cores ?
Such an abundant source of materials must have seemed like a Home Depot to the ancients
