Went to an estate sale yesterday and could not resist picking these up. I threw in one of my recent finds, it is a reworked point, see if you can find it! If y'all have any info on these bad boys, let me know.

after you get them in photobucket and in your album just open the pic and to the upper right hand corner click the html link to copy. Hope that helps!

found and like any treasure hunter, he probably remembered the place and Wx conditions of every single piece. Are you serious about finding one 'reworked' piece in that haystack
The points seem basically Texas, somehow the flint has that NW Tx look to them ( or possibly not far SW TX )(?)

The family had a ranch on the pedernales out by dripping springs. They had bags of these brokes that were much nicer than most of my personal collection so I bought as many as I could afford.

My mistake. If he lived / owned property in Dripping S. that must be what the local flint looks like.
The previous owner would have been pleased that even brokes would wind up with an appreciative new owner
