We had met "Whiteshirt" a few yrs ago...now it's just " whitey"..( and BLACKSHIRT ) Made a find while clearing a new dig spot
It's a winner, a Martindale
Badger & Whitey work in the shade
There's no accounting for digging styles but it's another find.
Carla & Sandy also dig ( and chat ) in a shady spot
Whitey's finds at leaving
Sandy takes a breather ( and oversees the slaving peons )
R & S's finds at leaving
Skyshot ( reflected ) of a nice one winged Castroville
My favorite of the day is the Martindale ( not by size, but old age )
These final pics are right at the mouth of the spring.
The stone the points are on is a big piece of the Grey to white color flint so prevelent all over the ranch area, and of many of the recovered points.
Carla's buddy, Terry, just off stage when the shutter snapped. Sorry
