2012 off to a BANG! Hopefully the good luck continues...

Got this one about 30 minutes before dark on 1-2-12 in Burnet County. Talk about getting down to the wire. I'm not sure what it is, maybe darl, but definitely is a sweet point. Any ID's are welcome.

Dug this little beauty up on the afternoon of the next day 1-3-12. Got hit our old Seguin spot. I'm guessing Scallorn even though it is pretty good size for a birdie. Too bad it had a couple nicks, but still pretty nice.

I can't wait to get back at it again! Happy New Year everyone!!

Stemmed Darl is my guess.

Just an update on the Seguin point. After talking with a friend and upon closer inspection, I believe that this "scallorn" is actually a small Marcos point. Seems to fit the mold better. Any thoughts are welcome.
