Schleicher Co. Bird Point

Dusty's dad found this bird up on their dig near Eldorado. I'm thinking Sabinal, base is too wide for a Perdiz, but not sure about the notches above the wings. Would have been an easy ID if the base was there.

Wish I'd have found it. I'm thinking that those extra notches are hafting notches. Got a couple of emails that agree. That would have been a real centerpiece if whole.

Beauty, and interesting that somebody would rehaft such a small piece after the base snapped....but it seems
logical if he needed a quick repair against a charging Gecko
