Nice D+K, you guys tore it up. Looks like you found the right mound.

Re: back to the honey hole

How fitting, the "honey site " for Valentines day
Nice SQF ( Size, Quality, Flint )

Re: back to the honey hole

Thanks Hal!
Any ideas on type of point the pink spotted one is? Gary?

Re: back to the honey hole

Nice show guys ! I like a nice honey hole with a midden. Me thinks the spotted one is a worked down bat-wing perd. Keep the good posts coming. I suffer for a dig but will be in Texas all of March ! Yay !

Re: back to the honey hole

Dusty & kasey
Thanks Hal!

As guestimate, How about one of the "Pontchartrain" types ? Far from it's range but is that speckled flint common to your area ?? might be an import.
