I want to first say thank you to the Michelle and Hal, you are first class folks and it has been awesome to learn so much about artifacts and hunting them from the two of you. I learned so much from so many others as well.
At this time I am going to have to lock the gate and wish you my friends the best. 99% of you have been great, respectful and cleaned up after yourselves.
I do have a few screen digs scheduled and we will complete them. I know there are tons of artifacts still beneath our feet, so if something changes I will let you know.
Until we do sell, I will schedule some small groups out to screen, fish, camp, and enjoy the ranch. If you are interested you can call me or email.
Craig, I'm so glad I made it out there when I did. Sorry to hear that you are closing. Thank you for allowing me to salvage some precious artifacts from your place. Good luck and God bless.
The Starr Ranch will always be remembered as being a part of the ancient people of Texas right from the very earliest paleo days.
Thanks for allowing many modern people to walk and explore just as the ancients did and be a part of that history.
Craig was kind enough to honor a reservation we had made before closing...For an Easter dig.
This may be the very last piece, note time & date ( thats PM time )
And this is the very last view of the " top O th hill " site
Here is my find of the day on Easter at Starr Ranch. Thank you, Hal, for inviting me to the Easter egg hunt and helping me with all the hard work. Craig, thank you once again for letting me enjoy the adventure at your ranch. It's been one of the most productive sites, for me, so far.
