Cant place it with a quick check of the " field guide to fossils of Texas "..
Coral examples shown have very distinctive inner structures in those pores.
Maybe Sponge......OR......cave deposit

Carefully sanding off an area should prove something, an ex living creature will have a 'structure' and cave
material just a neutral 'plain' look.
