is a date set for 2012 digfest?
October is still the month of choice.
The main event is on a Sunday and the Saturday still a discounted dig day.
Will probably nominate a date about a month before. Weather forecasts are obviously critical. We fully realise many people really need a long lead time to get the right day off but if it looks like bad WX...The date will be changed rather than fighting mother nature again.
Also to try to make the date easier to get to for the most people, the date chosen would ideally not be on a day when;
-There is a major football event
-a national holiday
-a major christmas discount sales event
-more than 30 weddings to attend
-Holloween weekend
