It's fossil alright. If they can be seen in the rock as you say...that rock was once the seabed mud. The original flint the artifacts were made from also started in seabed mud. So in a way ALL your finds are aquatic

Thanks guys, will be going back today, digging a few holes to fill them with corn and syrup to have the ***s root up and loosen the soil again, seems to be working. It's amazing how the pigs can plow into the rock soil, sure saves me alot of work.
