Photo shoot for book,

Did anyone get a picture of one of their points for the book? Was it even a major topic at the show? From what I've seen at the shows, none of my collections would make it. But then again, all of mine are personal finds and worth millions!. Millions I say!!

Re: Photo shoot for book,

Certainly none of mine...Is the book actually out ??
I was at D.R.'s table and did not notice any particular
book display.. ( I was riveted on the metal points frame )

Re: Photo shoot for book,

Flintpig

Most of the pictures were taken on Friday. I think they had a good turnout.

SH, I don't think the book is coming out until spring of next year.

Re: Photo shoot for book,

John, it was good to have met and visited with you Saturday.
I was told the book is supposed to be available at the Temple show next year.
The photographer said he took about 600 pictures Friday alone. I'm sure more than one pic per artifact though. It is my understanding that the pictures of the entries will go before a panel to be voted on from there. They probably have a bazillion pictures to go through, as they've been doing this for two years now that I'm aware of.

Re: Photo shoot for book,

Hey GT,

It was nice visiting. I enjoy seeing artifacts from areas outside my stomping grounds.
