All nice artifacts, especially the quality of that Lanceolate base.
A true 'axe' is an almost unknown item in central Tx but it does seem that it could have been shaped. Looks like a sandstone, maybe a housewife created it to use for grinding instead of her big Mano grinder. ( like for herbs & ****es )

Thanks for the intel SH, had some guys at the ranch and they found some neat stuff, will post pics as soon as they send them to me. One looks like a hooked blade about 4.5" long, if it wasn't broken it would have probably been around 6-7".
