Re: Hal's Digging Report

I would like some info on this place. Going there tomorrow. Anyone have any luck surface hunting? Any info/advice would be appreciated.

Re: Hal's Digging Report

I hadn't been there, but you can go back on the forum and there's lots of threads on the finds there, from both digging and surface hunting. Weather report has it being a little cooler. Hal's (SH) the main reporter from Crisner's. He's a regular out there and always has finds to post.

Re: Hal's Digging Report

Alright. Thanks T.

Very good timing for replies...

Kevin just posted surfacing finds..

I was there today...My best advise is where NOT to dig...( back of top camp )...

Most recent finds tend to be at the north end of the ranch at " Bill's camp "

Re: Hal's Digging Report

Thanks a lot SH. I'm sure I'll do a lot of wandering around tomorrow. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the wife though Haha.

I couldn't find a pic of Spyder with his Christmas hat on,,,, here he is checking the flint finds from just 6 days ago

Photobucket

Re: Hal's Digging Report

Those flint biscuts look pretty ruff on the teeth. Poor Spyder..

Wonder how he made out?.. WX radar showed rain for a lot of the day up that way.

PERFECT WX for Mall shoppers

Re: Hal's Digging Report

I walked around for a couple of hours. I met colby, and he was a real nice guy. Found a few broke pieces. It was a little overwhelming with all the places to dig. I'd like to come back sometime. Thanks for all the help.
