finds on the fourth

Had a good day, we must have been under a tepee for awhile, they were hitting the table pretty steady.

Here is pic of some firerock in this nice sand, it is mostly iron ore. There are little pockets of it here and there. This is about 3' deep.

The perdiz is 2" long.

this is exactly the position this nice ensor was found in!

Here's my better half showing off her find!

Re: finds on the fourth

Y'all did real good. That's one mean looking Perdiz. I thought that one of mine was big but it's nowhere close to yours.

Re: finds on the fourth

Thanks, I had to let out a holler when I first seen it!

Re: finds on the fourth

Excellent report & finds....
Looking at that many artifacts from a day's work of looking through ancient history confirms my observation
based on many dig sites.....
IF it was not for flint........there would be almost ZERO evidence of ancient civilisations in most of TX..

Just some burned rocks

The Ensor "insitu" would look neat in a frame with a piece of that wire mesh included

Tks for the show
