Just a day earlier this dry wash channel was flowing with rain water...Through the humid mist comes that now familiar sound.... ..."WhOO hoo" !







Small but a nice find for not getting dirty hands



I was able to dig a side area that was mostly small stone....



This may the worst "closeup" I have ever taken...when I first tried to decipher it, I thought the camera triggered at random..



This was a big nature lesson for me along with the badly broken point ..
Mid morn I spotted a nice group of "toad stools" and I thought...THATS where I'll do any after dig find pics.. When I returned mid afternoon...I couldn't find the Toads...after really close inspection I found that they had ALL not only tumbled over but were so limp and fragile they were well on their way to becoming a leaf mulch...
