Side story...I had to make 3 tries at the last pic,,,,,the dog was really spooked..every time I laid down he ran off...Guess he's not happy with his human diggers laying flat out
is this a test trench close to any digfest areas? also is this new secret area im hearing about an undug location?

The 'test trench' is way in the back of "top camp" . It's rotten area where nobody goes, only 1 foot deep, mostly hillside washdown...only good for desperation digging. nowhere near digfest areas.
Sorry to be mysterious about the "secret" location but it's 7 feet down under a top layer 3 feet thick of previously moved dirt. The test hole needed to be dug to prove it out so the throw dirt has now obliterated the good deep level..
Next time it is properly trenched for Digfest it will be "crime scene" taped off
