FLINT HANDICRAFTS

Here's a couple more projects for flint not in a display case.

Very appropriately,Debra wore a flint pendant to a screen dig.

A full point had been polished in a hobby rock tumbler. The glossy finish was beautiful ( the pic doesn't do it full justice ). the clip goes on a hole drilled with a diamond tipped Dremel tool.

Mark Adams ( originator of the giant "flint trees" )is onto a new project.
He has been digging in the Nueces Valley all month and saved ALL ( mostly big ) flint flakes he came across...nothing worked.
Those are BIG ( and heavy ) tubs !

The next mammoth sized project is to wash all the pieces then select the most beautiful translucent ones ( that the Nueces area is reknown for ).
Then assemble the pieces together just like a stained glass window THEN..
put an LED bulb behind all the hundreds of segments....All in the shape of an arrowhead..

Thats a dedicated flinter project
