Spyder has been a good sport this past summer by enjoying a cool beverage instead of just dry biscuits...



In fact he seemed to enjoy it so much that instead of a champagne toast at digfest we went with some Chateau Prestone brut





And now the punch line ...

My heartiest thanks to all that made this gag possible..NOBODY knew in advance what the end of the "toast" would involve but everybody did their share..

Not everyone can be seen well but their there ( including Badger )..
It was a bit awkward getting everything to come together for a picture, especially since about this time of the BBQ everyone was anxious to get to the prizes and get back to digging...

The dog's drink has always been fresh water with a few drops of red food dye in it..
Diggers toast is Cranberry juice....
