I'm curious about the recipe & baking process;
For authenticity...did you sprinkle a little stone grit from that Matate into the dough ?
Are the shapes individually hand carved or did you make a proper form that you might punch out similar styles by the hundreds ? . . . .
I formed my own cutters from some strips of metal found in the hobby/craft section of my local Hardware Store. I did have to do a little knife work on the Andice though. And YES! I can punch them out by the hundreds
