Today I got to check out a friends property in Burnet county that they are letting me surface hunt on. Several big crude preforms with a few nice keepers. Great day to be out hiking sites. Can't wait to check out the camp areas where several springs are located, 4 wheeling to follow!

thats an excellent amount & variety of finds for a single trip, a few seem ..( sunbleached while they were waiting for you to find them.)

this is a good posting to remind surfacers in Texas that RIGHT NOW, at the end of winter is the very best time to hit potential surfacing areas..even if it might be cool &

"Springtime" strikes with a vengeance about 1st week of March....By the end of March "surfacers" wont be able to see their s in the wildflowers & tall praire grass.

A portion of this site was excavated by heavy equipment,which made it alot easier hunting....
