It was so warm in the early morn sun the dog couldn't be tempted to move even for a treat.

It had rained the day before and Ronnie came out to look for surface finds. As He came over for a hello, he found a blade right on the recent throw dirt ( not mine ! )

In the extreme heat of the afternoon Spyder naps in a cool hollow

It was too wet to do much digging in my usual favorite spot,I just found this very late late triangle

The fab 4 were down from Ft Worth, found a very nice Perd along with some brokes. No pics, they will probably post later as usual.

Wildfire smoke in the backround over the Chrisners ranch house.Just south of the C3 property, now burning 5 days, very high winds over centex have made control difficult.

View from the C3 front gate. Said to be started by a campfire Feb 3rd. presently covers 500 acres.
