Re: Effigy pipes

They are all very pretty and unique. We'll take your word for it that even the birds are smokeable...

It tickles the imagination to think of seeing someone walking down the street with a Macaw stuck in his mouth, trailing smoke !

Re: Effigy pipes

The pipes are all life size and carved from Eastern Red Cedar. The stems are in the tails. The pipe bowls are in the mouth , the top of the head or the middle of the back. All of the pipe bowls are lined with native clay from here on the farm. Its something I do for my own amusement while sitting in front of the fireplace on cold rainy days.

Re: Effigy pipes

Very cool redman, much better than my few attempts.

Re: Effigy pipes

Nice work! Are these for sale, or a hobby?
I like the turtle.

Re: Effigy pipes

Thank you. All of my work goes to one collector; she's the Lady who owns the farm where we live.
