Re: IL ARTIFACT SHOW

When we visited Mesa Verde, the info there said the Anasazi were offshoots of the Aztec. The Aztec's were clear up into New Mexico, hence Aztec, New Mexico. I wouldn't doubt that some of the larger pre-historic civilizations weren't offshoots of Mayan, Aztec, Toltec, etc.

after reading the cahokia info would you say they were a people group simiiar to the anasazi or mayan? ive heard a possible mayan or anasazi group that went extremely north.

Te's input is good...Speaking only of what I know as a fact....They DIDNOT originate from Central TX where there is no evidence that anyone ( for 16,000 yrs ) ever put one stone on top of the other !

Every one was broken in some place. Most were $2. each, a few as high as #3.
Exact locations of origin unknown, just from the NE States
