Got out this morning and boy am I glad I did. Found a smoking red jasper Columbia plateau point. My best surface find ever for sure. The sand was hiding half of it, pulling it out was a nice surprise!








This will give you an idea of the size difference of some of my older finds from the same area. Definetly my new centerpiece!

That is a smoking hot find Ken. The Columbia River has lots of points if one gets out and looks. Glad you posted the pics. There is a great place up by Weiser Idaho called Indian Vally where I have found many Obsidian and much older Basalt artifacts. Lots of Nez Perce Birdies. Keep up the good posts.

What a tremendous amount of beach to scan ........Are those 2 geese in the water or just a downed windsurfer ?
